How our property management team has evolved over the years.

Today, I have Matt Peters from the Proactive Property Management team. Matt and I, as part of the Parson's Real Estate Team, ventured into property management about three or four years ago due to the lack of satisfactory referral options. We aimed to provide superior service in the industry.


Since then, we've witnessed significant changes, especially post-COVID, such as new tenant laws and regulations. For instance, Pasadena has placed restrictions on rent increases, and landlords are now required to pay interest on tenants' security deposits starting this July. Having a professional management company that stays updated on these changes is critical, especially now that even deposit regulations have evolved, reducing to one month's rent for tenants.


With that said, our property management services have grown proactively in the past year. With two full-time property managers and a dedicated handyman, we've enhanced our ability to address property needs promptly. This not only ensures excellent customer service but also allows us to save property owners money on repairs and efficiently prepare homes for the market.

As for our specialty, we cover the San Gabriel Valley, managing properties ranging from single units to a 28-unit building in Alhambra. Our full-service approach means landlords can enjoy a hands-off experience, with us handling rent collections, maintenance requests, and providing a transparent portal for expense tracking.


What sets us apart is our commitment to communication. We make it a point to answer calls promptly, communicate with both tenants and landlords, and strive to exceed expectations. Our goal is to keep landlords informed without them needing to chase updates about their properties.
