Should you wait to buy a home? Interest rates decreased slightly recently, and many experts predict they’ll fall even further this year. That means you should wait to hit the market, right? 

Not necessarily. The truth is that once interest rates fall, buyers will flood into the market, which will increase competition and drive up housing prices. Right now, you can take advantage of slightly lower rates while still enjoying a market with relatively low buyer activity. In other words, you can get the best of both worlds. On top of that, many lenders are offering free refinancing deals right now, so you can still get that lower rate if they do fall.
